Rebel Soldier Painted First Shots
The two action figures shown in this entry are painted first shots. While the first shot on the left mimics the production figure's paint scheme closely, the figure on the right departs considerably from its production counterpart. In particular the brown paint used on the legs and head differ in shade. The face coloration is also different along with the left chest emblem.

Above we see a rear view of both figures. It's not easy to see, but both lack copyright information and country of origin markings.

Frequent Archive visitors will like recognize the owner, Broc Walker, as a long time and consistent contributor to the site. Broc focuses his collecting efforts extensively on Rebel Soldier. Broc has amassed what is likely the single most extensive collection of 3 3/4" pre-production material for the character.
