| Featured here is a cromalin for the unproduced Revenge of the Jedi 3 3/4" Rebel Soldier action figure packaging. Revenge of the Jedi cards made it as far along as the proof card stage, so naturally earlier stages in the packaging production process, like cromalins, were produced as well. Cromalins play an extremely important part in the creation of toy packaging. Notes are often found on cromalins to indicate changes that need to be made before the final version is approved. Suggested changes vary from piece to piece, but range from text absence, necessary color changes, etc. This example is devoid of any notations whatsoever, so the card image is entirely unobscured. The picture clearly conveys the vivid colors exhibited on cromalins of this nature. |
