Kenner Junior Achievement Wall Clock
This clock was designed and sold by kids (in limited quantity) in the Junior Achievement program with the cooperation of Kenner. The clock features Star Wars characters, and similar artwork to one of the ESB figure storage cases. This item is described in Steve Sansweet's Star Wars: From Concept to Screen to Collectible.

Two different styles of this Junior Achievement clock are known to exist: the one pictured above similar to the ESB storage case, and a second one of Yoda based on movie photography from the Empire Strikes Back. Both clocks are constructed with the same electronics and materials.

The following information regarding this clock comes to us from collector Dave Fox. The article was published in an old issue of the Kenner company newsletter.

Yoda Plus Starwarsco Equal A Winning Combination

Yoda not only teaches young Jedis the way of the force, he has helped Kenner's Junior Achievement company gain honors.

Starwarsco, which marketed a Yoda-faced clock, received two top JA awards recently as the Company of the Year and as Top Sales Company of the Year. Under Kenner's sponsorship, 23 students from six area high schools planned, manufactured, sold and kept records for their business venture.

Awards are based on attendance, bookkeeping, plant visits, and many other business related areas. In addition to the company awards, Starwarsco's President, ******, was named Executive of the Year.

Starwarsco's advisors from Kenner included: ***** (Company Coordinator), *****, *****, *****, *****, *****, *****, and *****. All donated considerable time in helping the Achievors become better qualified as future business men and women.
