| The Droids Jord Dusat shown above is classified as a first shot. The first shot stage exists to debug the steel production molds prior to mass production. As a result of this function, the plastic color used is inconsequential. Collectors place a higher value on first shots cast fully or partially in non-production colors, like this one, due to the obvious visual differences. Although Jord's torso and limbs are non-production colored, the head appears similar to the production figure minus the paint applications. The torso on this example is not sonic-welded, allowing the figure to be disassembled. |
