Chewbacca 4-up Hardcopy Paintmaster (733-006)
Chewbacca made three production appearances in the Micro Collection line, although he was planned for a fourth pose in the unproduced Bespin Torture Chamber playset. The Hoth Wampa Cave included one of the Chewbacca poses, the Deathstar Escape included the second, and the Millenium Falcon featured the third. The handpainted 4-up featured in this entry, designated by the product code 733-006, heralds from the Micro Collection Millenium Falcon vehicle.

Above we see a bottom view of the 4-up. As you may notice from an unpainted sliver of the middle base bottom, the 4-up is cast in a green colored urethane, referred to as dynacast, a material frequently employed for the creation of hardcopies during the vintage Kenner era.

Adam Lovera has assembled a fine Micro Collection pre-production series for Chewbacca. A matching unpainted 4-up, accompanied by various 1:1 pieces, may be viewed here on the Archive. Thanks for another splendid contribution, Adam!
