Plastic Mexican Stormtrooper
This kind of weird Stormtrooper toy was made in Mexico during the vintage years. It should be fairly recognizable to collectors of Kenner's vintage line of toys, since its nothing more than a crude, oversized copy of the company's familiar 33/4" Stormtrooper figure. Notice also that the gun was copied in much the same way. Like a similar Mexican R2-D2 toy, the figure is made of hollow plastic, just like those cheesy lawn ornaments you see a lot of around Christmas time. As you can see, it came sealed in a clear plastic bag.

These Stormtrooper figures were re-released around the time of the Special Editions in 1997, in bags bearing colorful header cards. I believe the '90s toys have different paint detailing in the area of the stomach.
