Han Solo Screamin' Model Original Artwork
The prototypes in this series are all original artwork, layouts, and proof sheet for the Screamin' Model Company's line of Star Wars models released in the early nineties. These represent some of the first prototypes to emerge from the "Dark Years" of Star Wars collecting - the period between the demise of Kenner's action figure line and the release of the Heir to the Empire novel.

Shown here is the original hand-drawn pencil and ink artwork for the Han Solo kit. This artwork was used for the instruction sheet layout pictured here. The first image is rendered in pencil and, as can be seen from the 3-3/4" figure pictured, is quite large. The second image (below), while looking like a tracing of the pencil drawing is actually a new rendering done in ink and drawn to match the pencil art.

Finally, the artwork for Han's Blaster is shown below. This is also an ink piece although a bit smaller than the other two drawings.
