| These are a series of photo artwork pieces for The Force Lightsaber toy that was introduced with the Empire Strikes Back line. Images like these were used extensively in catalog photography to sell this product to retail toy buyers.
Note that Kenner added the enhanced "Aurora" effect on the lightsaber as an attempt to illustrate the humming sound that the lightsaber made when waved in the air. This image above shows a young Chris Georgoulias excited about playing with his new lightsaber toy.
This art piece has extensive airbrushing for the trail effects of the boys dueling it out with their sabers. This image illustrates that the toy is designed for play with other lightsaber toys.
