Double-Faced, Dual-Image Coin Prototypes
On this page you see a couple of pretty weird Power of the Force coin prototypes. Both feature a character image on each of their sides rather than a character image on their fronts and text on their backs, as a normal coin would. The coin in the first images has the POTF C-3PO image on one side, the Droids image of the same character on the other.

Next up is a coin that contains two Luke character images: one showing him in his Bespin outfit, the other his X-Wing pilot gear.

I'd guess that these things were made in order to test the front portions of the coin dies before the back portions of the dies were ready for use. Either that or they're Kenner novelty coins, made by someone who wanted to insure he'd always win coin tosses by simply calling "heads."
