C-3PO and Emperor's Royal Guard
These figures were made from castings of production Kenner figures which is apparent when you see the incredible lack of detail on the C-3PO figure. Like all of these "Uzay" figures, the photos showed actual toys in different play environments instead of showing the actual movie character. The nameplate on this figure says "See-Threep (C.P.o)". The gold finish is quite dull, but not nearly as dark as on the Brazilian figure. The next figure is one of the neat ones because it is not exactly like the Kenner version. Of course the omission of the cape is the first obvious difference. Though it should be noted that there is another verision of this Turkish figure that includes the cloth cape. This is apparent from looking at the photo. The arms and legs on this figure are not the same ones used by Kenner though. I'm guessing that they always planned to do this thing without the cape and decided that the original appendages looked too thin and weak for such a menacing helmet. As far as I can tell, these limbs were taken from an AT-AT Driver. But this is all part of the beauty of bootlegged stuff. The staff is the same, however.
