Jawa Large Size Action Figure
This series of Star Wars dolls from Mexico has an interesting history. Until recently, there was little documentation on these dolls since they never seemed to turn up boxed, and many collectors thought these might be bootlegs. There was a small warehouse find in early 1996 of these dolls confirming the Tusken Raider, Han Solo, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Luke, Jawa, and R2-D2 dolls as issued by Lily Ledy in Mexico.

All of these dolls differ from the US counterparts significantly. They appear to be cheaper in design, and possibly made of existing parts for dolls issued by Lily Ledy.

The interesting feature about the Jawa doll is that it's the only doll which features the Tusken Raider on the box. Perhaps the Tusken Raider and Jawa were released at the very end of the run and the box for the Jawa was new. Although one might ask why the Tusken Raider box doesn't have the photo of the Tusken Raider listed with the other large figures. The Tusken Raider box was made by pasting a small photo over the Luke photo on the front of the box so Lily Ledy didn't have to print up a new box, just make a sticker.
