Droids Jessica Meade Unproduced Figure
Man, this is an impressive piece, especially when one considers that Jessica Meade is one of the toughest second-series Droids prototypes to find. Of course, this is much more than a simple figure; it's a fully-fashioned carded sample, complete with hardcopy figure, blister card and coin. The card itself is just an awesome example of Kenner artwork. Its inclusion of Max Rebo and C-3PO just serve to make it more attractive to the Star Wars action figure collector.

Here's a closeup of the figure. I often say it looks like Grace Jones, but it really is a great representation of the animated character (Meade, not Jones). Oddly, it's made of green Dynacast, a material that's infrequently found in connection with Droids and Ewoks figures; most seem to have been made of a white urethane material. The other image you see above is of the bottoms of the figure's feet. The word "Adithia" is written on one. While this might seem strange, evidence exists which suggests that Adithia is actually the original name of the Jessica Meade character.

The coin. You should be able to tell that the bubble on this thing was hand-cut, as its edges are somewhat uneven.

The reverse side of the blister card is totally blank No doubt about it, this is a hot unproduced Droids piece. When you consider that Jessica Meade is next-to-impossible to find loose, this carded version becomes all the more special.
